And here we are. Another trip to DC. Smooth travels and a warm cookie at the Double Tree here in Silver Spring, MD. It’s been a while since I’ve last written and as I sit down here to lunch at the hotel I thought it would be a good time to acknowledge my online existence.

I’ve been feeling a bit overwhelmed by schedule lately. I volunteered to coach/manage my son’s Lego Robotics League.  There’s so much to do and it’s very difficult to get nine 4th/5th graders all working towards the same goal. Throw in piano lessons, Cub Scouts, Kung Fu lessons, Girl Scouts, school work and everything else I’m really grateful for this trip to get me a little me time.

Recovery-wise things seem to be going decently and enabling my being present in the above activities. Now to make it through the Holidays; potentially even enjoy them and look to continuing in “New Normal” land. 

PS I’m at Starbucks, the holiday coffee blend is specifically called “Christmas Blend” Ihave no clue wtf Trump is doing with this paper cup non-issue.
